Great news, as in the early hours of the morning we received confirmation that the flight landed in the Antarctic base despite 35 knot winds threatening to delay the team.
Current co-ordinates following the landing and trip to the base are as follows: Latitude -79.760283, longitude -082.857400. If you head to <http://iridium.com/m?> you can enter any of the co-ordinates posted to view a map on which you can scroll about and zoom, to get an idea of the scale more easily than in an image.
